How do you put on and take off contacts?

I just got my contacts. At the place where I got my contacts, they gave me practice contacts to put on my eyes. Im the biggest loser haha, it took me like 30 minutes each eye to put contact in and I put them in by mistake! I couldnt take them out so the doctor took them out for me. This sucks.
Im so afraid to do anything with my eyes. Im even afraid to put eyedrops on my eyes. Im just not used to touching my eyes or going anywhere near it. But I NEED contacts, because I do sports and glasses bothers me when playing especially in lacrosse and football.
So can anyone, in detailed steps, teach me how to put on and take off contacts?

This is what I do, and it may not work for you. Everyone is different.
I put my R contact in my palm wet it well with solution. Then I put it on my R index finger, I pull down my R lower lid slightly with my R middle finger, I look up towards the ceiling and place the contact on my eye. Blink a few times and it rolls into place. Same process for the L eye.

For removal, I take my R middle finger pull down my lower lid slightly. Place my R index finger on the contact, move it down and pinch it lightly with my R thumb.

I’ve been doing this method for 16 years, never had a problem. It just takes some time and patience.
